Your mission:

  • You will support the IP team to reach the company's patent mission and targets. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for internal patent management in the Business Unit Flexible Packaging, including:
  • Evaluation of searches by external partners and monitoring of third-party intellectual property rights
  • Evaluation of freedom-to-operate analyses
  • Carrying out prior art searches
  • Strategic monitoring of competitors and preparation of competitor analyses
  • Patent related administration work e.g. legal status checks
  • Deadline management especially annual fee management

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in technical engineering/natural sciences (on HTBLA or university level)
  • 2+ of experience in IP
  • Interest for technical contents
  • Systematic and well organised style of working
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Fluency in German and English (oral and written)
  • Limited travel readiness (mainly within Austria, Europe)
