Your mission:

  • Mondi group is currently running a project (of roughly 220m EUR) for converting the paper mill in Duino, Italy from LWC (Light Weight Coated) to containerboard (100% based on recycled paper) paper. The scope of the project includes:

    • Rebuild of paper machine PM3
    • New OCC line
    • New anaerobic plant
    • Pipe bridges, infrastructure modifications
    • Integration into existing plant
  • Securing project implementation according to the defined targets in their area
  • Securing the fulfilment of milestones according to time schedule
  • Delivery of skilled work in their specific field according to the valid standards & norms
  • Preparation and leading of technical tenders within responsibility area
  • Coordination of the internal and external stakeholders dealing in their area (suppliers, team members, operators, etc.)
  • Supervision of the above mentioned stakeholders
  • Delivery of the work within the defined budget
  • Reporting of deviations to Area Manager
  • Supporting all activities during each project phase (engineering, erection, commissioning, start up)
  • Alignment with head of specific field to ensure same standards are being followed
  • Delivery of the correct documentation regarding building equipment
  • Reporting according to the project handbook / reporting plan

 

Your profile: 

  • Engineering degree
  • Experience in industrial projects as project engineer or manager
  • Able to read and understand engineering documents (layouts, isometrics, etc.)
  • Problem solving skillset, ability to take decisions and stick to them
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the position
  • Languages: Italian & English
  • IT skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Other similar qualifications, same chances. We are open to individual careers.


Our offer:

  • Duration: limited to 16 months (project duration until March 2025), possible prolongation after project
  • Start up of the line after rebuild is planned for Q1/2025
  • Extent: full-time
